Runa was born less than a year after her brother, Laic, but was sapped of her ability to touch the Force by her father. She was raised on Coruscant as Runa Maberrie, niece of Saché and Soren Typho. She thinks of Saché and Soren as her parents, though refers to them as aunt and uncle.

In truth, she was unaware of her connection to the Skywalker-Vader Dynasty or even the fact she had a brother. She remembers nothing of her days in the imperial palace and grew up as an extremely intelligent young girl. She takes accelerated courses at school, some classes designed specifically for her with private tutors.

She is very protective of those she loves and fiercely loyal. The last thing she wants is to be evil like the Vaders.
